To avoid confusion, Tina Barber breeds ISSR Shiloh Shepherds under the Zion banner.

Shows, breeds, trains SCH. Personal Protection dogs with NASA, formulates the future STM program.

Conformation points/titles several AKC German Shepherds.

   Collects decades of data and starts the LMX program

Tina begins the tradition of annual Homecomings.

   Breeds AKC German Shepherd Dogs, trains and titles dogs for NASA Schutzhund and personal protection, lectures across the country, writes numerous articles for major publications such as  the  GSQ, publishes Shiloh Shepherd newsletter.  Publishes 1986 Stockbook.

Establishes satellite kennels across the country

1990

Shiloh Shepherd Breed Standard is written by Tina.

Tina's dogs enter the rare breed world as Shilohs Shepherds, named for the kennel of origin.

Tina and Lisa travel across the US/Canada showing their dogs to promote the breed.

2000 Shiloh Shepherd Farm, aka, Zion Kennel, burns to the ground. Tina and Lisa move to Fillmore and form New Zion Shilohs.

33rd annual Homecoming!

Tina continues to write articles for our website and major publications.

Gary and Wendy form new club. SSDCA offered amnesty in late 1999.  New club disbanded in 2001.

  Shiloh Shepherd community forum started. Our community forums have grown rapidly, reaching nearly 1800 members by year end

International Shiloh Shepherd Registry incorporated as a separate entity from the SSDCA.  

Registry rules put on the web.		 Amnesty offered to splinters. Dr. Padgett presents the results of the health survey at Home-coming ARBA war! Tina rescinds permission for ARBA to use her copyright- protected Breed Standard. ARBA forced to remove it from their website.

Genetic Task force  website

ISSR websites list licensed breeder and litter charts fully documenting all activity!

Shiloh Shepherd Learning Center created

Breakaway group is taken to court - Watts can't call her Shiloh/GSD mixes "Shilohs" - names them King Shepherds.

Shiloh Shepherds Kennel Picture Collage from the '80's Gary's club, ISSDC forms - starts own registry ISSDCr Gary's club (ISSDC) and registry fall apart. The "registry" eventually splits into 3 different factions. SSBA formed from Gary's registry-led by Christy Christy joins TSSR,  SSBA led by Jan.
2006

Canada chapter is formed by another newbie.

Judy's registry (NSBR) splits from Gary's registry.  Anything goes. Issues Shiloh Shepherd "papers" for all GSD's.  Numerous outcrosses welcomed with no central control. By 2007, between the 3 rival "registries",  nearly 30 GSD's have been brought in as outcrosses!


Shiloh Shepherd ads from Aug. 1992-1994.

For the first several years after the Shiloh went "rare breed" the only breeder advertising was Zion Kennels and Tina paid for all breed advertising herself.

Marcia's  registry,  USSDCr, forms from Gary's registry and closes.

TSSR (Pattis' registry) forms from remants of Gary's registry.
